Going to McDonald’s is always a special treat. Even when it’s for work.
Over 100 thousand people in countries
all over Latin America enjoy going to
McDonald’s every day. For a different
reason than most would imagine: work.
Arcos Dorados, the Latin American
company that manages McDonald’s in
the region, believes that developing,
training, and promoting people is
essential to provide high quality service
with elevated standards of excellence.
In Mexico, for example, McDonald’s
won the Súper Empresas 2009
award from CNN/Revista Expansion.
According to research held with 90%
of McDonald’s employees, it is the best
company to work for, with the best work
environment and organizational culture

McDonald’s in Panama, Costa Rica,
Ecuador and Venezuela have recently
received the Great Place to Work award,
as one of the best employers in the
region. In Argentina, McDonald’s is top
tiered among the 100 best companies
to work. The same happens in Brazil,
where McDonald’s was the fifth most
sought out company to work at, last
year, and the one that most hired in
the country, besides being one of
the 20 best companies for corporate
executives to work.
We are very proud to be recognized
