ADM’s Paraguay Stevia team is an example of how an effective community partnership encourages new
sustainable economic opportunities for small farmers who are often excluded from the agricultural value chain.
The team has increased the yearly income of 250 farmers by as much as $1,500 each by providing the technical
knowledge to grow stevia —a native leaf plant from Paraguay that contains a high concentration of natural
sweetener used in foods, beverages and pharmaceuticals.
Across 60 countries, everywhere we operate, ADM employees are dedicated
